Expertanswer embraces the principle of using the simplest possible technology. But sometimes things don’t work anyway. The most common problem is that web browsers don’t cooperate.
For Expertanswer and the log-on to work, you sometimes have to change a few settings in the web browser you are using, usually Internet Explorer or Netscape. (If you wonder which version you are using, go to Help and select About… and you will see information about this.)
Instructions for Internet Explorer 4.0
1. Select the View menu.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
4. Scroll down to Security and choose to accept cookies.
Instructions for Internet Explorer 5.0
1. Select the Tools menu.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Select the Security tab.
5. Click on Internet and then Customize Level.
4. Scroll down to Cookies and choose to accept cookies.

1. Select the Tools menu.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Select the Privacy tab.
4. Click on Advanced.
5. Make sure the boxes are marked with an x so that cookies are accepted.
