The exhibition “Places to be” containing artwork from artists all around the world will afterwards travel to Glasgow, Lubjana and Milano.
The master thesis “about here/ hear” questioned the predominance of the visual and explored sound (recorded in the urban environment of gothenburg) as a medium of communication and inspiration. The “Human Cities Festival” is a result of a European partnership “Human Cities: sustainable urban design”. The initiative aims to establish an exchange of expertise, in a European context, in order to fuel an interdisciplinary debate on the sociocultural dynamics of sustainable design for urban public spaces.
