IVL is internationally renowned since long time for its research within environmental effects, environmental technology and environmental systems analysis. Experts of CIT Ekologik, a company within Stiftelsen Chalmers Industriteknik, have carried out international high profile consultancy contracts for major industrial clients in Europe, Asia and North America, since the start in 1989. These contracts have often focused on how to integrate environmental concerns and improve environmental performance of the clients’ products in a systematic way in early phases of product planning and product development.

All personnel of CIT Ekologik will move to the IVL premises in the middle of February. This will also contribute to strengthening the links between IVL and Chalmers, which was an important driver for the recently completed relocation of the IVL Gothenburg office onto the Chalmers Campus.
The expansion will strengthen the position of IVL at the forefront of international method development within sustainable development as well as the ability to offer and deliver tailored strategic industrial assignments.
